Who are we?

Jewbilation.com is an online marketplace and information hub for the Jewish community. It includes both a fully functioning marketplace for people to buy and sell Jewish products and gifts for the home, holidays, and events; as well as a fully functioning, searchable service directory -- including florists, event/party planners, caterers, camps, synagogues and temples, photographers, bands/DJs, nursing homes, and more -- for parties, events, and Jewish life. As part of our model we donate a percent of all of our profits to Jewish charities and organizations. We are also working on a blog section and forum for people to share recipes, talk about holidays, ask questions, etc. All information is opened as long as it is related to Judaism or Jewish events/holidays. These forums however will not be opened to any discussion about politics. This is meant to be a site full of information and products and free from controversy.

Jewbilation is unique in its foundation, in that it is positioned to capture and aggregate the diaspora of retailers, services and vendors that support and cater to the Jewish community at large.  We are not a niche platform focusing on a small cross section of the market, but rather a destination portal for Jewish life and services, from bris to burial and all of life's many simchas in between.

Our Mission

The goal of Jewbilation is to be a one-stop-shop for the Jewish community. The idea is that if a person moves to a new town or is planning a wedding or Bar/Bat mitzvah, all that they need can be found in one place from products for purchase to local services to assist with party planning or finding organizations, camps, or nursing homes in a new area.

Who Posts on Jewbilation

We have two types of vendors. It is free to sign up as a "product vendor". Product vendors sell products that you can simply add to a cart and buy. Product vendors can customize their product listings to include pictures, customizable options, and more to make their products stand out. Customers can also rate vendors or products. We collect a small percent commission for all products that sell. We collect a commission here because everything can occur through our cart and there is no need for direct customer-seller interaction.

For service vendors (camps, caterers, party planners, temples, nursing homes, calligraphy, etc) where the seller and buyer need to interact, we have a separate service section. For this section the seller signs up for a service vendor account, which is only $99 per year, and free for the first year for the first vendors who join. Instead of posting products they post their company --descriptions of their business, photographs/pictures, along with any other details of what they do along with their contact information. Vendors are allowed 1-posting per purchase, again each posting lasts 1-year at which time a vendor can choose to renew or leave the site. This is in essence a customizable advertisement or profile. Customers can search by zip code or state and find those services nearby. 

By appearing on our site service vendors, for a low fee, can reach a specific target audience and get additional exposure.
